Slurry Pump Impeller Replacement
Machen Machinery supplies white cast iron impellers for WSA 4-16 inch sand pump systems used in abrasive slurry transfer and tailings handling. This product is usually selected for alluvial gold mining, river sand pumping and abrasive slurry transfer. Before quoting, Machen Machinery checks river depth, sand layer, discharge distance, power source and whether the customer needs hose, diesel engine and wear parts together.
Product Description
Built for High-wear Pumping. When slurry contains sand, gravel, ash or tailings, the impeller surface can wear and reduce pump performance. A suitable replacement impeller helps maintain flow and reduce vibration risk.
Replacement Inquiry. Send pump model, impeller diameter, material requirement, quantity and photos of the original part.
For an accurate quote, send the product name, quantity, river depth or working site, material condition, discharge distance, power source and destination country. Photos or short videos of the site are useful when the buyer is not sure which model to choose.

WSA Slurry Pump Impeller Replacement
Machen supplies white cast iron impellers for WSA 4-16 inch sand and slurry pumps. The impeller is cast and machined for the confirmed pump model, then checked with the mounting and matching wet-end information supplied for the order.
Reduced output does not automatically prove that only the impeller is worn. Casing profile, second-section clearance, suction condition and pump speed should also be checked before the replacement list is finalized.
| Send to Machen | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
| WSA model and pump outlet size | Identifies the base impeller family |
| Overall diameter, vane count and mounting photos | Confirms geometry and connection |
| Front, back and side photos | Shows profile, wear and matching surfaces |
| Slurry, largest particle and operating hours | Supports material and spare-quantity review |
| Required quantity and destination | Supports production and shipment planning |
Impeller Casting, Machining and Matching
Production control covers casting, machining and fit checking. Where the order information allows, Machen also reviews impeller balance and its relationship with the pump body and drive speed. Exact checks depend on the model and order scope.
For a complete wet-end order, compare the slurry pump casing and second section. Return to the slurry pump parts center for the full replacement range.
Impeller Replacement FAQ
Can Machen match an impeller from photos?
Photos are useful but should be combined with the pump model and principal dimensions. A worn outline alone may not preserve the original hydraulic profile.
Should the casing be checked when replacing an impeller?
Yes. An enlarged or uneven casing profile can leave excessive clearance around the new impeller and reduce performance.
