Machen WSA Pump Range

Sand Dredge Pump Manufacturer for Mining and River Dredging

Machen manufactures WSA sand dredge pumps and prepares diesel power, mining hose, connections and wear parts around the real dredging route.

Factory Supply

A Sand Dredge Pump Is Quoted as a Working Package

Shandong Machen Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. manufactures cast-iron sand pumps in Liaocheng, Shandong. Our WSA horizontal pump is supplied for river sand, abrasive slurry, dredging, tailings and alluvial gold-mining work. Buyers may order a bare pump, but remote sites usually need the drive, hose and first wear-parts list confirmed before shipment.

We do not select a dredging sand pump from outlet size alone. Two buyers can ask for the same nominal size and have different answers because their flow, vertical lift, horizontal route, gravel and suction conditions are different.

WSA PumpHorizontal sand and slurry transfer through a planned pipeline.
Diesel or ElectricPower and speed are matched after the pump duty is fixed.
Hose and FittingsSuction, discharge, length and connections are listed by section.
Wear PartsImpeller, casing and service items can ship with the pump.

WSA Horizontal Pump for Sand and Abrasive Slurry

The WSA is the main Machen product for buyers searching for a sand dredge pump or a dredge pump for sand. It works from a stable installation with a confirmed suction line and discharges through hose or pipe to the washing, separation or disposal point.

  • River sand and alluvial gold mining.
  • Dredging and abrasive slurry transfer.
  • Tailings, ash, coal slurry and construction dewatering.
  • Diesel-driven packages for sites without stable grid power.

Selection Data

What Machen Checks Before Recommending a Dredging Sand Pump

Required information What it changes Practical evidence
Required slurry flow Basic pump capacity range Plant feed demand or current measured output
Vertical lift and full route Total head and pipeline loss Height, horizontal distance, bends and route sketch
Sand, gravel and largest particles Passage, blockage risk and wear duty Photos beside a ruler or screen-size record
Approximate solids concentration Slurry density, power and curve correction Process estimate and video at the intake
Suction arrangement Priming, air entry and cavitation risk Pump position, water level, suction length and inlet photo
Power and daily operating hours Engine, speed, reserve and service plan Engine nameplate or requested package scope

A simple hand-drawn route is useful. Mark the water level, pump, highest point and discharge position, then add the main distances. This often prevents a wrong quotation more effectively than asking only for a larger engine.

Common Orders

Three Sand Dredge Pump Packages We Prepare

01 / Complete riverbank package

WSA pump with diesel drive

Pump, base, engine, pulley, belts, suction and discharge hose, fittings and selected wear parts.

02 / Existing-system replacement

Pump and matched connections

Nameplate, dimensions, rotation, speed and old duty are checked before replacing an installed unit.

03 / Combined mining shipment

Pump plus site equipment

Dredge pump package can ship with crusher, recovery mat and agreed alluvial-gold accessories.

Manufacturer Control

Casting, Machining and Repeat Wet-End Parts

Machen has worked in sand-pump manufacturing since 2002. Pump bodies and replacement components move through casting, machining, fitting and order preparation. The confirmed pump model and parts information are retained to make later repeat supply easier to verify.

Machining controls the connection and fitting surfaces between the casing, impeller and adjoining components. For remote projects, the first spare order should be planned from expected operating hours, material abrasiveness and international freight lead time.

Review the slurry pump parts center and Machen’s casting and machining capability.

Pump and Pipeline Boundary

Common Causes of a Poor Sand Pump Package

01 / Suction too difficultLong lift, air leaks and sharp inlet bends reduce the pressure available at the pump.
02 / Route loss ignoredHorizontal hose, fittings and bends add resistance beyond the visible vertical height.
03 / Solids understatedThe occasional large stone may control the passage and blockage requirement.
04 / Speed chosen firstA bigger engine or faster pulley does not correct an unsuitable operating point.

If the pump must work down inside a pit or sump and a stable suction line is impractical, Machen may compare the LSA vertical pump instead of forcing a WSA into the application.

Buyer Questions

Sand Dredge Pump FAQ

Can Machen select a sand dredge pump from discharge diameter alone?

No. Diameter is only a connection reference. Selection still needs flow, total head, sand and particle details, suction conditions, route and power information.

Can the WSA sand dredge pump be supplied with a diesel engine?

Yes. Machen can match the WSA pump with a diesel engine, base, pulley and belt drive after the pump duty and target operating speed are confirmed.

What hose is supplied with a dredging sand pump?

Suction and discharge positions are identified separately. Hose diameter, length, abrasion duty, pressure requirement and end connections must be confirmed for each section.

Which wear parts should ship with a new pump?

The initial list commonly covers the impeller, casing or second-section components, sealing items and drive consumables. Quantity depends on material, operating hours and freight lead time.

When should a vertical pump be considered?

An LSA vertical pump should be reviewed when the pump works near or inside a pit, sump or tank and a practical horizontal-pump suction arrangement cannot be maintained.

Request the Configuration, Not Only a Price

A firm quotation should identify the pump, drive, hose sections, fittings, wear parts, packing and production schedule. Machen will mark any assumption that still needs site confirmation.
