Shandong Machen Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd.
Slurry Pump Manufacturer for Mining and Abrasive Duty
Machen manufactures and supplies WSA horizontal and LSA vertical slurry pumps, then matches the pump with power, hose and wear parts for the actual mine or dredging route.
Manufacturer Scope
We Build the Pump Around the Working Condition
A slurry pump inquiry cannot be fixed by outlet diameter alone. At Machen, the starting data are required flow, total head, solids, largest particles, concentration, suction arrangement and discharge route. These inputs decide whether a horizontal or vertical structure is practical and how the pump should be driven.
Our current slurry pump supply is based on two verified product families. The WSA horizontal slurry pump is used for planned suction and discharge pipelines. The LSA vertical slurry pump is used around pits, sumps and tanks where the pump works close to the lower slurry level. We do not offer an unverified “one pump for every slurry” selection.
Slurry Pump Range
Horizontal and Vertical Slurry Pumps Have Different Jobs
WSA Horizontal Slurry Pump
The WSA is our main horizontal sand and slurry pump for abrasive transfer through a defined pipeline. Typical orders cover alluvial gold mining, river sand pumping, dredging, tailings transfer, construction dewatering, ash and coal slurry.
- Selected from flow, total head, solids and suction conditions.
- Can be matched with electric or diesel power and pulley transmission.
- Suitable for a pump package with mining hose and initial wet-end parts.
LSA Vertical Slurry Pump
The LSA is considered when abrasive slurry must be lifted from a pit, sump, tank or other lower working position. Liquid depth, installation space, solids concentration and maximum particle size are confirmed before the model direction is fixed.
- Vertical arrangement for pit, sump and tank pumping.
- Selected for the actual liquid depth and installation method.
- Compared with WSA before the power package is finalized.
Selection Boundary
Which Slurry Pump Direction Fits the Site?
| Site condition | Starting pump direction | Data Machen still needs |
|---|---|---|
| Planned suction and discharge pipeline | WSA horizontal slurry pump | Flow, head, suction lift, distance, bends and solids |
| Pit, sump or tank with a lower slurry level | LSA vertical slurry pump | Liquid depth, installation position, head and particle size |
| Abrasive sand or mineral slurry | Wet-end and operating-point review | Solids type, concentration, largest particles and daily hours |
| Remote site without stable grid power | Diesel-driven package review | Target pump speed, altitude, route and service access |
| Replacement for an existing pump | Model and dimensional matching | Nameplate, photos, connections, old duty and failure history |
A “heavy duty slurry pump” description still needs a measurable duty. Machen does not confirm pressure, output or particle passage from the phrase alone.
Factory Order Method
How Machen Prepares a Mining Slurry Pump Order
Define the slurry
State the liquid, solids, largest particles, approximate concentration and normal operating hours.
Confirm flow and head
Include vertical lift, horizontal route, bends and discharge point instead of distance alone.
Review the inlet
Liquid level, suction depth, pipe arrangement and priming conditions affect the available pump duty.
Compare WSA and LSA
The installation position determines whether a horizontal or vertical arrangement is practical.
Power, hose and spares
Engine speed, pulley ratio, hose route and wear-part plan are checked with the pump.
List every supplied item
Model, quantity, connections, packing, destination and shipment schedule are fixed in the order list.
Manufacturing and Repeat Supply
A Slurry Pump Supplier Must Support the Wear Cycle
Abrasive service means the wet end will eventually wear. For that reason, our manufacturing work is not limited to the first pump. Machen controls casting and machining for pump bodies and replacement components, then records the confirmed model and dimensions for repeat supply.
The main WSA replacement range includes the impeller, casing and second section. Material and spare quantity are reviewed from the slurry and operating plan. Buyers can use the slurry pump parts center and the abrasive slurry material selection record before preparing the initial spare list.
Complete Pump Package
The Pump Is Only One Part of the Slurry Transfer System
A selected pump can still perform badly with the wrong speed, undersized hose, restricted suction or missing wear parts. For remote mining projects, Machen can place the main equipment and service items in one shipment after each item is confirmed.
Mining Hose SelectionSeparate abrasive slurry discharge from clean-water transfer.
Wet-End Spare PartsImpeller, casing, second section and planned repeat supply.
Alluvial Gold MiningPump, power, hose and recovery workflow for river sites.

Buyer Questions
Slurry Pump Manufacturer FAQ
What slurry pumps does Machen manufacture and supply?
Machen supplies WSA horizontal slurry pumps and LSA vertical slurry pumps. The correct family is confirmed from the installation position, flow, head, solids, suction and discharge route.
Can Machen supply a complete diesel slurry pump package?
Yes. After the pump duty is confirmed, Machen can match the pump with a diesel engine, pulley transmission, mining hose, connections and an initial wet-end spare-parts list.
How is an abrasive slurry pump selected?
Selection starts with the solids, largest particles, concentration, required flow, total head, suction condition and operating hours. Material and spare planning are reviewed with the operating point.
Can Machen replace an existing mining slurry pump?
Replacement is possible after the existing nameplate, inlet and outlet, installation, route and operating duty are checked. Photos, dimensions and failure history help prevent repeating the old problem.
What information is required for a firm quotation?
Send flow, vertical lift, horizontal distance, slurry and particle details, suction arrangement, power source, daily hours, destination country and site photos or video.
Request a Matched Pump
Send the Duty Before Asking for a Model
Machen will use the operating data to compare WSA and LSA, review power and route losses, and prepare a clear equipment and spare-parts list.
